160th SOAR(Abn) WARRANT OFFICER

Since our inception, the 160th SOAR has filled its ranks with “tested volunteers”. This means that all Warrant Officers must apply and assess for service in the 160th. This application process begins when you submit your package and ends when you report for duty.
STEP 1: INITIAL APPLICATION
Download and Complete the 160th SOAR(Abn) application and attach letters of reference. Once complete forward it to the relevant Army Special Operations Recruiter, and await approval of your package.
STEP 2: APPLICATION REVIEW
Your recruiter will submit your package to the 160th SOAR(Abn) Assessment Branch which will review your application. Throughout their assessment you can anticipate several interviews with prestigious members of the branch.
Following approval, you will be contacted in order to schedule you Assessment & Selection process
STEP 3: ASSESSMENT WEEK
Assessment is a week long assessment program and consists of the following:
Night Stalker Physical Readiness Test
MOS Related Testing
Screening and Interviews
Flight Evaluation
Formal Board interview resulting in an accept or decline decision
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Qualified in one of the authorized MOS
Open to Active Duty
Able to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance
Must be in good physical condition
Be a Pilot in Command (PIC)
50 military flight hours
